bbjr (bob bucko JR) Tonight Will Be Fine

bobWe are gloriously lucky to be staffed with actual musicians here at YRCS. Bob Bucko Jr. is an iconic jazz/folk/experimental/whatever-the-fuck-you-want-to-call-it purveyor of sound. His catalogue is beyond prolific, and he embodies the sound of the revolution. (The “revolution of what?” question is for you to decide.)

Today, we mourn the passing of the also iconic Leonard Cohen. His music brought love, hope, and faith to swaths of followers. His influence on Western music was so unique it will go down as unprecedented.

During a week that finds many of us in stupor, may our mourning bring us back to what is truly important: the music.

“If music be the food of love, play on.”
-William Shakespeare
